Hey Y'all! don't
know about you but
I did not want to
go back to work today...
All that sleeping in
and shopping online
does spoil one, doesn't it?
I didn't make a whole lot of changes to my tree this year -
I basically decorated
it the same as last year, with my
hand-made fabric ornaments,
snowmen, and Santas...

This special little angel was in my Mother's belongings when she passed in 1992, so she's always on my tree every year.
I can never pass up on buying a
Santa ornament that I just love!
Not to mention the
Jim Shore ornaments!
This is my sweet grand-daughter's first hand
print at age 7 months, last year.
And no tree is ever complete without a silver bell. After all, it is a wonderful life!
Happy Monday, Y'all!

Beautiful tree, JoAnn. Yes, it is a wonderful life. That is one of my favorite movies, too :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I have all of my boxes out....but that's as far as I've gotten!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny how I had 3 months to decorate for FALL, and have 3 weeks to decorate for Christmas ;-)
DeleteLove your pretty tree and I, too, have ornaments that belonged to my mom...and, like you, I put them on my tree every year. We miss our mamas most at holidays...especially Christmas. Having something that belonged to her makes me feel fuzzy and blessed to have had such a great mom. :)

Thank you for the invite and I certainly will do - in fact, Dec 19th was the date of my mother's passing, so the Angel ornament will be all the more special in sharing that with everyone.
