Halloween Candle Holders
Country Sampler Knock Off

I'm no painter, by any means of the word.
But when I saw these candle holders in the latest
issue of Country Sampler I knew I had to TRY to make them.
Aren't the ones in the magazine just the cutest?
No way could I paint the scroll-y spider webbing,
so I just stuck to doing dots. Dots I can do.
{Do I sound like Dr. Seuss?}
And, it just so happened that I
had a set of nearly matching candle
holders, BEGGING to be painted.
I wish I had that super cute spider in their picture,
but I'm just working with what I have on hand.
Not sure if I'll let them say in my kitchen,
I tend to move things around til I find the right
fit... and then it's time to take them down again.
But at least these little guys will brighten
this gloomy rainy day today anyway ;-)
Happy Thursday, Y'all!
