Down Our Red Dirt Road

While the paint dries on a few of my projects
that will not be finished tonight, I
thought you'd enjoy some views of our area
in the Low Country of South East Georgia.

A neighbor's hay field...

Come take a stroll with me ...

Wild flowers {Weeds} by the road side

I only know of one place in our area that
these little red bushes grow.

Not sure what this plant is called but
it's bursting with beautiful purple color
UPDATE: a fellow Georgia Blogger,
Jo May at Loblolly Lane
states this is a Beautyberry Bush
A very appropriate name!

I've dubbed these "The String Bean Trees"

The old barn down the lane.

Happy Wednesday, Y'all!

  13. Visiting from the blog hop. Those are great pictures! If I were to take some in my neck of the woods, they would look more like submissions to the Jeff Foxworthy redneck yard thing!
